Nothing and Everywhere

Over a year ago I was approached by a wonderful gentleman to convert his novel into a screenplay.

In March 2013 I completed a first draft which, after appraisal by Kathy Harty (Executive Producer at HBO) I worked with the approval of the client to create a second draft. Thankfully, the client gave me carte blanche to retain the heart and soul of his story but retell the tale in a modern way for a modern audience.

Last weekend I joined him in London for two days to film a teaser film to raise funds for the project. Last night, he send me the first draft.

Over the next few posts, I will share the story, thoughts and experiences of the road to the screenplay.
